To administer insulin therapy
Insumed Syringes
Insulin syringes
Insulin syringes.
WHAT ARE THEY?
Sterile, disposable syringes with a fine needle for your U-100 insulin injections. Also indicated for mixing different types of insulin.
WHAT DO THEY DO FOR YOU?
They allow for accurate dosing and a mild, almost pain-free injection, thanks to the thin tip of the PIC needles with triple bevel.
WHAT MAKES THEM UNIQUE?
A graduated scale that also indicates half units of insulin, a significant plus particularly for injections in children. The marks are well-spaced, making the numbers large and readable. Additionally, the magnifying lens included in the package provides optimal readability of the graduated scale during dosing.
The syringes are Zero-Space: the needle is directly attached to the body of the syringe and the residual space where insulin could remain is eliminated, ensuring that all the insulin in the syringe is injected, reducing potential wastage of medication.
Another unique feature? A stop mechanism inside the cylinder, so the plunger does not come out during the aspiration of the medication.
