The importance of self-diagnosis for women
A discreet and safe answer to women’s intimate problems
Simple, immediate diagnosis at home to check that values are regular is very important for everyone, especially in light of today’s hectic lifestyles. Which is even more reason why women, who divide their time between work, family and social occasions often need quick and sure answers to their most intimate personal needs.

One of the most common and delicate problems of women is vaginal infection, caused by one or more different infectious genera and species. The basic symptoms – itchiness, vaginal discharge, burning sensation, pain during sex (dyspareunia) – are often reasons women visit their gynaecologist. These problems can never receive too much attention: infections like these are in fact among the prime causes of premature birth and reduced fertility.

Women’s sexual health depends on the correct balance of all the microorganisms that are present in the female sexual organs and that make up vaginal flora. This balance is maintained by a rather acidic pH level (pH=4). Monitoring these acidity levels is therefore an excellent method for checking sexual wellbeing and is something that every woman should do in light of disorders such as those indicated above.

This is why Pic Solution has devised the Vaginal pH Personal test, as part of the Personaltest line, which in simply, hygienically, quickly and intuitively measures the delicate balance by determining its pH. The small painless applicator, thanks to its extremely easy to interpret colour scale, quickly establishes if bacterial flora has changed or not.
The Vaginal pH Personaltest has been tested by A.O.G.O.I., the Italian Hospital Gynaecologist and Obstetrician Association.

The Pic Solution Personaltest line proposes solutions to another of women’s needs: knowing how to recognise the ovulation period simply and quickly, thereby increasing chance of conceiving.
Ovulation is characterised (and caused) by a high concentration of a specific hormone (the hormone LH): the follicle ruptures, releasing the egg cell that enters the Fallopian tubes that connect the ovary to the uterus and that is ready to be fertilised by a spermatozoon.
Measuring the presence of the LH hormone in urine therefore allows you to determine the period in which there is a greater chance of conceiving.

The answer is Ovulation Personaltest, the test that allows you to read the results easily and quickly!

In conclusion: bearing in mind that these issues can never receive too much attention, self-diagnosis should be the first step for sexual health awareness.
